Zanith It was the dawn of a new day, and as I  was standing on my balcony overlooking the kingdom that my father was the ruler of, I was a jumbled mess of confusion. I say that my father is the ruler of the land  because he is not King. The King had died and left no heir apparent. The council that had aided the King had yet to elect a new one. My father is doing everything that he possibly could to make sure that the council chooses him as the next King. There were a few people, both on the council and off, who had knowledge that the King had a bastard son. This is the reason for my confusion, I’m torn between my loyalty to my country
